The arch structure was mainly used in masonry buildings as a form active structure. As time goes by, the forces and structural characteristics has changed and formed deterioration by the change of environment and use of the building. The main deterioration was started on the top part of the arch structure. In this study, it is in investigation of the size of the arch and analyze arch deterioration for the Daehan Hospital building. In addition, comparative analysis will be executed for other modern masonry buildings with the similar deterioration. This study will be used for reinforcement proposals for the masonry buildings deterioration.
최근 들어 역사적으로 의의가 있어 보존해야 하는 근대 문화재 조적조 건축물의 아치 상부에 균열이 발생하는 사례가 확인되고 있으나 건축물의 아치구조에 대한 공학적 접근 방식의 연구는 전무하다. 이로 인해 아치형 조적 개구부의 구조적 특성을 파악하여 균열의 원인을 규명하기 어려울 뿐더러 대처방안을 수립하기도 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 재난과 재해로부터 근대 문화재 조적조 건축물을 체계적으로 보존/보호하기 위한 기반 확립의 일환으로 현존하는 다양한 용도의 아치형 개구부에대한 사례조사를 실시하고 현재 균열 등의 문제가 발생한 아치와 비교 분석함으로서 구조적 특성 요소를 체계적으로 정리하여 아치구조의 손상 메카니즘을 파악하는데 사용될 수 있는 기초연구를 수행하는 것이다.
