In this paper, we intended to consider fire performance standards prescribed by foreign countries for Internal finishing materials constructed indoors among building materials related to fire safety of cultural heritage buildings. In the case of foreign countries, such as the United States, the fire performance of internal finishing materials is stipulated in standards or codes for each country or local government by reflecting the contents of the building use, specific space within the building, or test data, which is different from Korea. Therefore, this paper intends to present basic data related to fire safety that can be applied to the remodeling and repair of cultural properties buildings by considering these contents.
