Abstract

9.12 earthquake and Pohang earthquake caused great damage to architectural heritages. These two earthquakes caused damage to about 130 architectural heritages, and various types of damage were confirmed. In this paper, the damage status of wooden architectural heritages due to 9.12 earthquake and Pohang earthquake was investigated according to the structural parts. Also, the causes of earthquakes on wooden cultural properties were summarized by analyzing the damage patterns with the characteristics of earthquakes, the location of heritages, and the state of preservation. It is intended to prepare for earthquakes that may occur again in the future by analyzing the damage patterns and causes of wooden architectural heritages caused by earthquakes.

9.12지진과 포항지진으로 건축문화재는 큰 피해를 입었다. 이 두 지진은 130여건의 건축문화재 피해를 유발하였고, 다양한 형태의 피해를 확인 할 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 9.12지진과 포항지진으로 인한 목조문화재의 피해현황을 구조부위에 따라 조사하고, 피해양상을 지진의 특성, 문화재의 위치, 보존현황과의 연관성을 분석하여 지진이 목조문화재에 미치는 원인에 대해 정리하였다. 지진으로 인한목조문화재의 피해양상과 원인을 분석함으로써 향후 다시 발생 할 수 있는 지진에 대하여 대비하고자 한다.
