Abstract

This research a field survey was conducted based on the existing inventory data on modern architectural resources distributed in Daejeon. As a result, the current state of building resources was grasped, and the risk of loss and damage of modern building resources was confirmed in the midst of urban changes caused by various developments and social changes. As a result of investigating cases of loss or damage of building resources that are evaluated as cultural heritage due to urban development or poor management, it was confirmed that the remaining building resources are also exposed to the risk of loss or damage. Therefore, when establishing a plan for urban development and cultural heritage protection, integrated management for urban development and cultural heritage preservation is required, and the necessity of preparing preservation guidelines for various risk factors is suggested as a policy.

본 연구에서는 대전지역에 분포되어 있는 근대문화유산 중 건축자원에 대한 선행 목록화 자료를 토대로 현장조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과 건축자원에 보존 및 관리 현황을 파악하였고, 다양한 개발과 사회적 변화에 따른 도시변화 속에서 근대건축자원이 처한 멸실과 훼손에 위험성을 확인 할 수 있었다. 문화유산으로서 가치가 높게 평가된 건축자원이 도시개발이나 관리 부실로 인해 멸실이나 훼손된 사례가 상당수 조사되었으며, 현재 남아있는 건축자원도 멸실과 훼손의 위험에 노출되어 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 도시개발과 문화유산 보호에 관한 계획 수립과정에서 도시의 균형 발전과 문화유산의 보존을 위한 통합적 관리와 다양한 위험요소로부터 보존 방안을 마련하는 것에 대한 정책적 필요성을 제시하고자 한다.
