Abstract
To provide analaysis and organize statistical data on geometric form, to come up with the definition on an average geometric form(size) of a masonry arch used in a structure through investigation on the arch of an existing ancient masonry structures. Based on the defined geometric form, objective evaluation will be used to recognize weakness of an arch used during structural safety test and will also be used as a reference on distinguishing basic arch structural form. Based on the statistic data analysis (average price, peculiar data) of an arch with current existing research data, understand the structural behavior of an arch by experimenting numerical analysis of depleted arch such as cracks on the mid part and perform analysis on the characteristics of geometric form on the main structural element of a target arch. The goal is to maintain and apply geometric statistical analysis to use as a baseline data to offer stuctural safety test on newly built arch structural designs, and to practice on reinforcement of a modern cultural masonry building.
조적조는 고대부터 사용된 구조형식이며, 고대 조적조 건축물에 개구부(창호, 출입구 등)를 만들기 위해 사용한 시스템은 개구부 양측면을 기둥으로 활용하고 상단에 보를 설치하는 가구식 구조 시스템을 활용하였다. 구조적 안전성 확보를 위한 보수・보강이 필요하지만, 전통 건축물과 달리 근대 건축물은 건물 전체를 해체하지 않고는 보수가 용이하지 않다. 따라서 구조적인 문제 발생 시 보수・보강 공사 이전에 문제의 원인을 분석하여 보수・보강에 효과적인 방안을 찾아야 할 것이다. 근대 문화재 건축물 조적 아치 가운데 균열 등의 열화가 발생한 조적 아치를 대상으로 수치해석을 수행하여 조적 아치의 구조적 거동을 파악하고자 한다.
