The mock-up tests were performed to evaluate the possibility of fire spreading due to radiation heat transfer of automatic fire shutters in the event of fire where combustible materials are placed around automatic fire shutters. Test results show that combustible materials with a distance of 0.5m to 1m from the automatic fire shutter can ignite by radiant heat in the event of fire. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the related standards such as limiting the placement of combustible materials within a definite distance or installing automatic fire shutters having insulation performance for a portion where combustible materials are inevitably placed adjacent to automatic fire shutters.
본 논문에서는 박물관 및 등록 문화재내 전시공간 등에 설치되는 자동방화셔터 주변에 가연물이 배치되었을 경우 자동방화셔터를 통한 복사열 전달로 인한 화재확산 가능성을 검토하기 위한 것으로 관련 실험을 포함한 연구결과 자동방화셔터로부터 0.5~1m 이격 거리에 있는 가연물은 화재 시 복사열에 의한 착화가 가능하여 화재확산에 영향을 줄 수 있는 것으로 나타나 자동방화셔터 주변 일정거리 이내에는 전시물을 포함한 가연물이 배치되지 않도록 제한하도록 하는 등의 주의를 해야 할 필요성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
