In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the potential of charcoal as a clean energy and environmentally friendly material. Since air quality inside buildings has a very important impact on health and safety, many countries have laws and regulations in place to regulate air quality inside buildings. Therefore, in this study, through examples of the application of charcoal in traditional architecture, we will look at the applicability of current buildings and specifically examine the applicability of charcoal in terms of technology and design. In addition, through the analysis of the characteristics of the building, the sustainability of charcoal was analyzed by reviewing the applicable parts in the building, which are considered important in each country directly or indirectly affected by corona and yellow dust.
