Abstract
In this study, the ignition hazard and fire hazard of ash are to be confirmed. In order to check how long the embers of the ash discarded from wood last and the possibility of leading to a fire, fire cases were analyzed and a study on reproduction experiments was conducted. To secure the amount of ash, 10 kg each of pine and oak trees actually used in a firewood boiler were burned to secure the amount of ash, and 150 kg of ash that was actually used for heating in the field was collected and used in the experiment. As a result of the study, we were able to confirm the answers to several questions. According to the accumulated amount of ash, a microfiring source that maintains about 100℃ even after 10 days has passed was confirmed in the deep part of the ashes, and the possibility of ignition by wind speed and the possibility of ignition into combustibles due to the ash was confirmed, confirming that there is a possibility of fire.
본 연구에서는 재의 발화위험성 및 화재위험성을 확인하고자 목재에서 버려지는 재의 불씨가 얼마나 지속되는지와 화재로 이어질 가능성을 확인하고자 임야화재 및 화목보일러 화재 등의 화재사례를 분석하고 재현실험 연구를 수행하였다. 재의 양을 확보하기 위해 화목보일러 등에서 실제 사용되는 소나무와 참나무 각 10kg을 연소시켜 재의 양을 확보하고, 현장에서 실제 난방으로 사용되고 남은 재 150kg을 수거하여 실험에 사용하였다. 연구결과, 몇 가지 의문에 대한 답을 확인할 수 있었다. 재의 누적량에 따라 길게는 10일 정도 지난 시간에도 100℃ 정도 유지되는 미소화원이 재의 심부에서 확인되었으며, 풍속에 의한 비화가능성과 재로 인한 주변가연물로의 발화가능성이 확인되어 화재발생 가능성이 있음을 확인하였다.
